Red House odds and ends.

Chris and I took it in turns to take a wander around the grounds for a break. These two buildings made up the tea rooms where..............you could buy teacake to munch on! I liked the slogan on the napkin! (-:The garden had a slight wild and not over cared for look which I really like. These brick paths were a lovely touch. And a tunnel of foliage. Nice to stroll though even though I can't remember what plants were used! I should've paid more attention!I hope this lady didn't mind me taking her photo, but she looked so content reading her book in the sunshine in the wilder part of the garden. It was very peaceful there.A couple of posers at that lovely Well to end with......
Oh not quite, here's one more view of the Red House from that lovely wild part of the garden, my favourite part.

What a lovely setting Jenny. I love the brick walkway it's on my DH Honey Dew list. Hope the craft show was good to you.

Jenny I want to sit at one of those tables and eat English goodies and look at those cute buildings! The tunnel is beautiful and love seeing pictures of you and your husband. The last shot of the Red House is stunning.

We have a little tea room in a very small town not far from us and they serve scones and lemon curd. It was/is new to me but oh my goodness they are good! I bet they are no way near as good as the real thing in the tea rooms in your photos!

What a great garden! I'd enjoy sitting there with a book, too. The tea cake looks delicious! Good photos of you and Chris and that wonderful well.

Hi Julie, yes those brick pathways were lovely. What is a Honey Dew list if I may ask?

Hi RR, if you ever come over here, you'll have to try out a traditional 'cream tea'. Scone, Strawberry jam and clotted cream all washed down with some english tea. YUM!

Hi Mary, I sat in that part of the garden for 10 mins or so, soaking up the sun. It was bliss, wish I could've stayed longer.

Hi Kelly, if I had the room, I'd had my garden like that. (-:

Hi Evie, I thought that after I'd taken the photo! (-:

Hi Shantana, that is something else I'd have in my garden if I could. I wish I'd taken note of what was climbing over that tunnel!

Hi Roy, yes a proper job cream tea is what was missing from the menu at the tea shop, but the teacake was pretty good, specially slightly warmed!
