Poppy post!

I thought my posts have been a bit Poppyless recently, so here is a plethora of Poppydom photos from when we first bought her home as a rascally kitten to the present day. As you can see, from the start, she's always been one for climbing! She still has this shoelace, but it is now shredded into three separate threads. When she wants to be, she can be absolutely adorable! (little minx). And also completely cute too! (one of my favourite shots of her to date).Of course, she has great taste in furniture.(-: Although Chris would much rather she didn't love it quite so much! She still has alot of fun with her scratching post. I haven't got a photo of it yet but she loves to sit (even now she's bigger) on top of the post and scratch the post from there! I definitely need to get my camera ready to capture that one of these days.A Bog Oak clock that Chris made proved to be a popular perching post! (YIKES, that mirror needs a good clean!!!)This was her first adventure to the outside world. Chris's shoulder was a good vantage point to explore from. Her first Christmas (2008) having fun with her ball. She likes to watch the birds and thought this was an ideal spot to watch from.Definitely my second favourite photo so far. Soooooooo sweet! This is our Popster just the other day in the snow (by the way her real name is Poppy, but she gets called so many other things)! -:She's loved this recent snow and charges around the garden like a maniac. Here's Chris going back to work in his workshop at the end of the garden with Poppy scooting off the path towards the pond. And then looking up at me taking a photo of her from our office room upstairs. Finally, here is a video clip I took of Poppy investigating the icy pond just before Christmas when we had freezing temperatures, but no snow.

Gosh, what an enormous personality that girl has! I laugh out loud when I see shots with her bright eyes SO wide open.

This is Auntie Evie here to say I love my little Pop Tart! I remember most of these pictures and your favorites are mine! I love the video and she is so cute looking up at mum to see what a smart girl she is for getting out of that pond (well we know she got in there somehow!!). I also love the last picture, she has really grown into a lovely lady.
Thanks Jenny

What a precious kitty. I love the second photo of Poppy in the birdfeeder. she is very photogenic. Jenny do you usually receive that amount of snow as per your photo or is this unusual? How low have the temperatures dipped?

Oh My Gosh!!! How much fun is this? I could hear Poppy's little meow when she was at the pond-awww. Could hear you too Jen!!! Poppy is the cutest, I love her little white pantaloons! All the pictures are just so much fun. Chris is very tall Wren and he has a goatee and he is pretty easy on the eyes too as someone I know once said!! A thank you from me too Jenny. Just makes me keep smiling this morning :)

I do hope that "One" isn't sharpening "One's" claws on the chair legs.

What fun! I had forgotten how little she used to be. Zoe is now very large too. Love her in the garden...

Hi Danni, you know I thought of you when I was including that one of her on the bird table with her head twisted round. I remembered that you liked that one last time I posted it!

Hi Chris, yes she is cute, but a real mischief maker too! (-:

Hi Evie, when I saw her tip toeing on that pond I dashed inside to get my camera...just too good to miss!

Hi Julie, that's one of my favourites too, sometimes it's hard to get a good photo of her with her being so dark. No this snow is not usual at all. We didn't have it too bad her in the west country compared with other parts of Britain, but we had about4-6" and it's been a sustained bitter cold from the north and east (at one point we were colder than moscow!) I think the lowest it got was -22 deg centigrade, but here in the west country I think it got as low as -18 deg C (I think)! Today was the first time I've got out in my car for several weeks!

Hi John, thanks, she has her sweet moments!

Hi Pix, yes I love her sassy walk at the end of that video! Glad you liked the look back on her life so far...

Oh Roy,if only you knew!!!!!...... It's just as well we love her so much is all I will say! (-:

Hi Christine, yes she's quite a solid little cat now. I think we're feeding her too much! (-: Will you be doing a Zoe post shortly??? (-:

Oh! I loved this post and your sweet little Poppy. She really is cute. We have a Cornish Rex and took him in the snow for 3 seconds because he kept begging to go out. As soon as he touched the snow he started howling!! He doesn't beg to go out now! (The video was so cute...she didn't seem too sure of that ice!)

Ahhh....these are so cute! I love both of your favorites...that feet in the air shot and the one in the feeder :-) Great video...she does't seem to mind the water too much. Cats are such fun to have around.
