Holiday notice.
Hi folks. I'm off for a birding trip to the Scilly Isles which is a small group of islands about 30 miles off the south west of England. I leave at 2am Friday morning so that I can catch my helicopter flight which leaves at 7.30am! I hope to take some photos for blogging of course!

Off to the Scillies for the October birding fest...good luck and good birding. I am going to miss it this year. Love the photo of the Little Egret, the reflection in the water of it's crooked bill is rather good.

Ohh Jenny. Now you should know the locals hate being called the Scilly Isles....it's either the Scillies or the isles of Scilly. I hope there are no locals reading your blog...they'll be scarring the rarities away!! LOL!! Seriously though, have a great time, I am soooo jealous!!
Geez Jenny I'm late here cause we have been gone, out goofing about Missouri. Have a wonderful birding kind of holiday! It will be grand to see your photos!
