Spring Sprogs

As I'm pretty much stuck indoors during our annual selling exhibition, I've had to find inspiration for a blog post from the house. Here is a little story I found unfolding in the front garden this morning. I'm afraid the photos were taken through double glazing.

What shall we do today dear? Sit here sunbathing in this lovely comfortable Cotoneaster hedge?I know! Spring as sprung! The sap is rising!Let's start house building!I know a perfect nest hole in the eaves of No 24!

How very sweet Jenny Wren! The House Sparrows are singing their hearts out here already! It's not close to spring though!
your word verification was
sperpub which in my dyslexic world read as "superb" a very fitting word for you!!

Really delightful Jenny. I see a nest might be in the works for this week's agenda.

Jenny, Matt and i still are laughing at Poppy's photos in the bird feeder.

the Badge: If you want to; totally no strings attached - save the image of the Badge and copy it into a post and write a bit about Poppy with Poppy's voice. Then, you may pass the Badge along to someone else. Rather in the manner which you left your comment just now on my Zoe's post.

Hi there Evie, we sit up in bed in the morning drinking our tea and listen to those Sprogs chirping away. A very pleasant sounds, better than the traffic noise! (-:

Hi Chris, thanks, yep spring does seem to be well on the way, I'm sure we'll still get some winter weather yet though.

Hi Julie, are you still all snowed up over there? We had a brief snow shower here the other day, but it only lasted about 20 minutes, not long enough for it to settle.

Hi Roy, you're right there, mind you if we don't do well at this exhibition then they might see new tenants at no 24 (well it's not that bad really) (-:

Hi Christine, yes a nest must be well on the way. I can't help feeling it's a wee bit early, but here's hoping they're successful.

Hi Jenny, I definitely think you have a gift for photo captioning - your sparrow "story" is wonderful! Even trapped inside, there are still tales to be told! :-)

Hi Kathie, what birds have you got nesting over there already? Would love to know.

Hi Mary, yes, I know they're common but I still love watching them. They've bred most years in our eaves, it just seems a bit early this year, we shall see.

Hi Danni, thanks for that, coming from you that is a compliment! You have a way of writing that is so natural and funny.
