There wasn't much bird activity happening today, just a few Black headed Gulls loafing by the side of the water and 3 or 4 Great Tits at the feeders, so no bird photos on this walk round.
I did see some snow covered Teasel which made me think of my friend Evie http://www.sunnysideup-eve.blogspot.com/ as it is a favourite of hers. She is dealing with LOTS of snow right now which makes my inch seem very small fry!
I took some photos at home later on in the day and I'll hope to post some of those tomorrow.

Stay warm Jen! And enjoy the change of scenery while it lasts. I doubt if my parents down in Newlyn, Cornwall even got an inch!
Hey Jen at least it didn't get completely frozen over. Some nice shots as well. Of course I can hear Evie laughing about our bit of snow from here.
There is nothing like a dusting of snow to freshen up the land. I like the teasle too.
An inch when you are not used to it, seems like a foot! Looks very pretty and makes me itch to get out to the wetlands. I haven't really been out since we got our ice and snow. The teasel looks neat with snow on it! Stay warm!
Hi Celeste, I think Cornwall has had its fair share of snow this last couple of days too.
Hi Roy, yes I can imagine the chuckles coming from across the pond too! (-:
Hi Steve, it was sunny today and I dearly wished I could get out and take some photos in the countryside. Alas, I had to go in to work instead!
Hi Mary, thanks, I hope your weather improves soon so that you can get out there again! You stay warm too.
I really like these shots; esp. the last one. It is my kind of serene, Jenny~beautiful. So glad you got out and shuffled around in the snow a bit. You could have used snow shoes...
Jenny nice to see pictures of the still quiet day and how brave you were in going out I cant do it now I am on crutches its very scarey even going from front door to car.
